Despite the many butterflies in their stomachs and the attacks of stage fright, they managed to pull themselves together and twirled at all the home games, The girls participated with beginners at an exhibition on April 22. , p y K ' X V 4 VX! Y X J x Gheea .Zeacfeu Marilyn Rossiter, Betty Miller. June Thomas, and Jacky Smith! Spanking, new, green uniforms graced our cheerleaders as their untiring efforts united our voices in cheer. The girls led us in rousing manifesta- tion of school spirit during football and basketball season. Our boys surely felt how sincerely the spectators wished them success in their games, Sang .feacfmfi Our Alma Mater and other school songs floated on air as Luella Johnson and Donna Deland encouraged us with smiles and graceful leading.
