I TROD CTION Teen Town E, the Arista staff, are pleased to present this, your yearbook. In picturing the many phases and activities of our school we portray a busy, youthful community, whose members have wide and diverse interests and ambitionsg yet all have the single purpose of preparation for better citizenship in that adult community of which they will soon become a part. Here we show you the many members of this community of different ages and stages of develop- ment, as they acquire the general knowledge which is the founda- tion of good citizenship and the basis of higher education. Here also we show various groups preparing themselves for specific positions in business, in the shops, in industry, on the farm and in many other vocations. We show you groups studying the Finer things in music and dramatics, and groups engaged in athletics where a spirit of sportsmanship and fair play is developed. We show you, in the making, an understanding of the meaning of self-discipline and self-government in a real community, your community ofthe future. We have tried to present this record in such a manner that now and in later years, you will have a clear and accurate picture of your school in the school year of 1950-51.
