In picturing the many phases and activities of our school we portray a busy, youthful community, whose members have wide and diverse interests and ambitionsg yet all have the single purpose of preparation for better citizenship in that adult community of which they will soon become a part. Here we show you the many members of this community of different ages and stages of develop- ment, as they acquire the general knowledge which is the founda- tion of good citizenship and the basis of higher education. Here also we show various groups preparing themselves for specific positions in business, in the shops, in industry, on the farm and in many other vocations. We show you groups studying the Finer things in music and dramatics, and groups engaged in athletics where a spirit of sportsmanship and fair play is developed. We show you, in the making, an understanding of the meaning of self-discipline and self-government in a real community, your community ofthe future. We have tried to present this record in such a manner that now and in later years, you will have a clear and accurate picture of your school in the school year of 1950-51. ou abs ent? ornmy nnouncemen 3 Happy H A t 'I 612-16 da? wh-1 ' gre fu CWS L any lis i foda y ,faeri lyoqkn c1455 Ff cprlcen ff.w 7 ' jzfffeffb A2197- Yblyf 117' f' en ollf oblocl drafffm' ' 5650013 fufllfe alll' Fin! A Senior Class Meeting fmzbrf The Senior Class is a busy one for there is much to do. There is a magazine drive carried out, a class play conducted, innumer- able dances held and class-spon- sored functions performed. In spite of all these activities, there were not enough members of the class who could afford a trip to Washington so plans for such a trip had to be laid aside. But when the year draws to a close there comes the final per- formance, Commencement for adulthood. 'eff' 20 JACOUELINE ARNOLD W: duff: nothing ro murh ar what we aught nur za han.
