A Farewell Message to the Rising Seniors: We, seniors, look back and see you following closely. We all wish, in some way, that we could stay, although we have plans for the future. Not one of us leaves without feeling regret for some small things we failed to do to lessen the work of the faculty or make a day brighter for someone. We leave you with the following thought: work now so that as you approach graduation you can look back and say, I have done my best. I have set a good example for the underclassmen.” Make best use of your opportunities and you will have them forever. VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY THE GAMES 137 THE EDITORS The staffs of past years have regretted that they were unable to preserve spring events in the yearbook. This year, in order to avoid this situation, we are preparing for you what is known as a summer supplement. This addition will cover spring events, including commencement activities. It will be availa¬ ble to pupils when they return to school in September and is so arranged that it may be inserted within the covers of this book. In this edition of Memories, we have tried to picture your school life so that in years to come it will serve to remind you of the meaning of your school song, Broadway High”. With brave hearts we march together With new faith we greet each sun. Willing hands and best endeavor Leaving no set task undone.” Strive always to build castles in the air”.
