THE PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE TRUE SUCCESS True success is earned slowly, and by doing everything we do the very best we can. Any person can make a success in propor¬ tion to his capacities, as he is willing to pay the price: first, hard work; and, second, personal sacrifices. People want success but many are unwilling to work for it. Hard work must become a habit before any degree of success can be attained. There seem to many young people instances of exception to success by hard work. But they are all in the seeming. Things never just happen. There is always a reason for everything if one will only look for it. So with success — it comes only because men work intelligently for it and along legitimate lines. Mr. Hillyard with Mrs. Hillyard who de¬ serves our gratitude for contributions of which many people are unaware. 9
