CLASS WILL We, the ’51 Seniors of Broadway High School, County of Rockingham, and State of Virginia, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament, hereby revoking any will or wills heretofore made by us. Item I—To the members of the faculty we leave our deepest gratitude for their patience and understanding they have given us during our years at Broadway High School. Item II-—To Mrs. Crist, Mrs. Long, Mrs. Mason, and Miss Crist we leave our appreciation for their untiring efforts, to satisfy our enormous appetites. To Ellen Blosser, I, Frances Armentrout, will all my extra bobby pins that I couldn’t find a use for. I, Lois Bare, bequeath to Geraldine Carr, my long hair that 1 have so faithfully kept through the short hair rage. I, Norma Caplinger, will my position as Editor of the Annual to any Junior girl, who is willing to work as hard at it as 1 have. I, Gay Hottinger, leave to Junior Bazzle my gift of gab and my own special brand of giggles. To Richard Holsinger, I, Mary Davis Kline, will my beloved Chemistry book and my unbreakable habit of arguing. I, Jeanne Lohr, will to Joyce Whitmore my sparkling, blue eyes and neat appear¬ ance. To Rachel Van Pelt, I, Jean May, leave my pleasant and friendly manner, with understanding that she will use it to make people happy. I, Barbara Phillips, bequeath to Ellen Ritchie, my flaming red hair providing she doesn’t use it to attract boys. 1, Margaret Renalds, bequeath to Florence Rexrode, my position as Society Editor of the newspaper, hoping she isn’t tempted to publish scandals. To Jean Good, I, Mildred Renalds, leave my fondness for driving cars and my cheerful disposition. I, Genevieve Runion, will to Virginia Runion my perfect attendance record and the fun I had getting it.
