A F57 if FRESHMAN CLASS The Freshman Class was organized in September with Mrs. Jettords and Mr. Heagle as advisers. Victor Christopher was elected President: Cyrus Fralrer, Vice- Presidentg Dorothy Syzdelc, Secretary: and Helen Weiderman, Treasurer. lnitiations were carried out early in the term with the Freshmen as the victims ot upper classmen. They only bide their time until they have their opportunity to administer to Freshmen ot the tuture. During the Fall term Christmas cards, stationery and Jello was sold by the class members. On March l2th the Freshmen held a successtul Amateur Night and had a large audience. Sprague Jennings, a tavorite with local audiences, was engaged to be Master ot Ceremonies. and Peter Van Peters dance orchestra entertained betore the program and played tor dancing afterwards. The winner ot the tirst prize was Jessiel Crepeau ot second prize Marie Brown. and tniro Marjorie Vezfna. The Freshmen have nad an enioyable year in high school and are ioolcing tofward with anticipation to their next three years in B. H. S.

During The Spring Term iT was decided To award a scholarship prize To The- Commerce sTudenT having The highesT average in Two Commercial subjecTs. Rings Tor club members were purchased and received during The second Term. A TiTTing climax To The year's acTiviTies was an enjoyable TheaTre parTy held aT The Plaza TheaTre in SchenecTady during The laTTer parT OT The Spring Term.
