The team won six games, tied one with Catholic Central Q6-Gj, and lost the last to Ida Q28-121, in the Championship game. The Tories had six boys on the newly formed Tri-County league Team - Jack McClue, right endg Merl Sanch, right tackle: and Fred Barnoske, halfback. Tom Conrad, Karl Kimerer, and Dean Clement received honorable mention. Mr. Mario Marchislo's squad also had Jack McClue, Karl Kimerer, and John Korican nominated for honorable mention on the class C' and D All-State Team, The Tories will lose eight boys through graduation - Howard Haas, Ed Faust, Dick Cox, Jack McClue, Dick Lutton. lohn Korican, Ray Sharp, and Karl Kimerer, who re- ceived the Most Valuable Award. The Tory fans will see something different next sea- son, for the team has elected three co-captains for 1957 - Dean Clement, Merl Sanch, and Leo Bachtal.
