dlaaeif' In 1953 we entered high school as Freshmen with 34 students. Miss Mehler was elected as our class advisor. We then selected our officers: president, John Koricang vice president, Diana Seagertg secretary, Suzann Naugleg treasurer, Irene Bryant. Student Council Representatives were Ray Krauss and Mary Becker. During the year we had a duck raffle, a chicken supper, and several bake sales to eam money toward our Senior trip. Our Sophomore class advisor was Mr. Hoffman. Our class officers were: president, Karl Kimererg vice president, Betty Hawkins: Secretary, Dick Coxg treasurer, Claudia Cook. Student Council Representatives were Kenny Welter and Diana Seagert. During the year we gained one student, Sharon Rudduck. Students who left during the year were Carol Anderson, Mary Lou Montalvo, Beatrice Montalvo, Barbara Craig, Herman Garland, and Jackie White. We sponsored a candy raffle, a rabbit raffle, the All-School Banquet, and several bake sales during the year to earn more money for our Senior trip, Mr. Bradley was our class advisor in our Junior year, Our class officers were: president, Kenny Welterg vice president, Karl Kimererg secretary, Irene Bryant, treasurer, Darlene Purple. Student Council Representatives were John Korican and Diana Seagert. We gained some new classmates during our 1955-56 school year. They were Jerry Lockhard, Dave Linn, Keith Westcott, and Helen Yungling, We lost Marlene Ashenfelter. In our Junior year we sold popcorn and hot dogs at the football games, sold stationery and pencils, produced our Junior Play, and sponsored the Homecoming Dance, the Junior-Senior Banquet, and the Junior-Senior Prom. Then we entered our Senior year with Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Gage as our advisors. Our officers elected were: president, Karl Kimererg vice president, Dick Coxg secretary, Diana Seagertg treasurer, Irene Bryant. Student Council Representatives were Frank Prochaska and Sharon Rudduck. Alice Fox, Jerry Lockhard, Merle Merrick, and Keith Westcott left our class. We sold candy at noon and at the basketball games, sold bracelets and calendars, had a car wash, sponsored the Homecoming Dance, the Senior Play, and suppers for the Boy Scout Executives in order to earn money for our Senior trip, We left for Washington and New York on May 19 and arrived back in Britton on May 25. An exciting week followed with Baccalaureate Services on May 26 at the Methodist Church, Class Night on May 28, and Commencement on May 29.
