f ' A vw-.Y To Miss Winters, the Latin Club sponsor, we say, AveI Mr. sor. Societas Latina, the aim of which is to promote a greater interest in the clas- sics, meets every third Wednesday. Membership is open to any student who has studied Latin. During the year programs include games and plays to in- crease the knowledge and application of Latin. - Miss Winters, Sponsor Oh, Tom, you dance so divine- ly! Sherrie Buell compliments Tom Hurt on his terpsichorean talents at the Fall Informal, sponsored by the language clubs. The German Club stimu- lates an interest in the language and customs of Germany. Each year the club has a sauerkraut sup- per and at the end of the year a picnic at Page Park. For the first time freshmen are allowed to ioin the band and perform with the experienced members. Madame Shingler, sponsor of le Cercle Francais Parlez-vous francais? The French Club, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Shing- ler, meets monthly to in- crease its knowledge of the French people, their coun- try, and their customs. The club co-sponsors the Fall Informal forthe school and a unique Christmas skit for French Club members. - Mrs. Shingler, Sponsor Barbara Rulkowski entertains with a flamenco dance at the Spanish Club Christmas party. The Spanish Club brings together all interested in Spanish for educational and recreational purposes. Meetings are conducted in Spanish. Games, skits and speakers create a deeper interest in Spanish-speak- ing countries and the Span- ish language.
