Henry Bennion Eyring was horn May 31, 1933, at Princeton, New Iersey. He attended primary schools in Princeton and East High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Phys- ics. He served 2 years in the United States Air Force as a second and first Lieutenant. His assignment was head of field command, Armed Forces, Special W'eapons. Upon completion from the Military, he went to Boston and attended Harvard Graduate School of liusiness administration and graduated with distinction. Dr. Eyring married Kathleen John- son in Logan, Utah in 1962. They have three chil- P lv 7 f . W. f President Eyring 1 dren, Henry, horn in 1963, Stewart in 1965, and Matthew in 1969. The Eyring family has heen ex- ceedingly liusy with a new move to their heautiful home. They can he observed attending many school activities with an olivious closeness for one another. President Eyring was inaugurated Ricks' 10th Presi- dent on Dec. 10, 1971. The school year of 1971-72 has prospered from his insight and concern for the students. The dress code was handled very well. He advised the students with great authority flike a proj. Sometimes the students were reluctant to ad- here to the advise of the authorities. All around we can he thankful for a wonderful President.
