. . The Gospel in Action Living the gospel Well each day is by far not an easy task. It takes a lot of hard Work, faith, and endurance. It is always easier to live the gospel with the many church activities which Ricks has to offer. Among the many are Road Shows, Music Festivals, MIA, XVard Banquets, and VVard Plays. Ricks itself is the gospel put into action for 4,500 students each year. 144

Eyring was inaugurated as Bicks, presi- dent December 10, 1971, in an impressive ceremony attended hy many dignitaries and friends. President Harold B. Lee conducted and presided. Elder Boyd K. Packer gave the Invocation and Paul H. Dunn the Benediction. Dr, Henry Eyring presented the Inaugural Address for his son, and Elder Marion C. Romney the Charge to the President. Neal A. Max- well, Commissioner Church Educational Systemg Micheal L. Mulcady, Student Body Presidentg T. Bardell Klingler, Alumni Association Presidentg and Edward A. Malstrom, representative of the faculty expressed their feelings and appreciation for Presi- dent Eyring. Others in attendance representing the Church Board of Education were Dee F.
