SUMMER COMES and a couple strolls lazily towards the Eyring Science Center, home of campus research and study. STILL GROWING, the university is in midst of expansion program to fit large enrollment increases. Men here are working on new Family Living Center. THE DAY ENDS, and a Western sunset reflects upon the snows of Mt. Timpanogos. But evening for the planner is a time to appreciate the challenge of a great university.

i activities section Even in the times of the ancient Greeks all was not serious. Every civilization which has ever existed has had its ways of entertainment in activities. The woman gathering flowers for a Grecian festival was not far removed from the girl who now spends all night decorating for a big dance. We find that throughout the ages of the world a universal language which ignores time ' s barriers is laughter, arising from man ' s infinite capacity to enjoy himself and to amuse himself. Ever since the days of Eden he has invented intricate games, trained his body for sport competitions and planned events which would satisfy that other side of himself which seeks entertainment. Ik. 23
