ET TH Who said these pages are inaccurate? True . . . not exactly all our unreps were during holiday routine such as the ones shown here. But unfortunately, the assorted de- lights of midnight replenishment are hard to capture on film. BRIDGET was a thirsty ship. She needed a drink every two or three days and we were forced to oblige. We were hungry, too. In spite of occasional rum- blings of discontent from the mess deck, an amazing amount of food was consumed. We took on fresh vege- tables from the SACRAMENTO and crunchy peanut but- ter from the REGULUS. . As for spare parts to restock our rapidly emptying storerooms . . . well . . . that's another study.
