CLASS HISTORY ln the fall of 1949, along with the brilliance of leaves, came the Freshman Class of 145 students. Class officers for that year were: Ethel Pinkham, President, Rose Ellen Wedge, Secretary-Treasurer, Dorothy Stratton, Vice-President. Our first honor roll showed evidence of future Einsteinsf, but in our Sophomore year as our interest and participation increased, fewer students reached the 85 average. Our leaders were: David Cass, President, Edward MacDonald, Secretary-Treasurer, Timothy O'Connor, Vice-President. As Roger MacLeod, our class Marshal, raised the green and white baton, the long awaited Junior Exhibition began. Speakers were: Jane Crook, Dean Footman, Patricia llarmon, Richard Higgins, Robert flodgdon, Donald Jennings, Carolyn Perkins, Sherry Wentworth. Junior Class officers were: Paul Travis, President, Chester Kuchinski, Vice-President, David Cass, Secretary-Treasurer, Roger MacLeod, Class Marshal. Ar long-last came September of 1952, and we assumed the coveted roll of sedate Seniors. After a heated campaign Roger MacLeod was elected President, Robert Adams, Vice-President, Barbara Nelson, Secretary, Judy Patterson, Treasurer. Just before the anxiously awaited Christmas vacation, our Senior play, We Shook the Family Tree, was presented under the able direction of Mrs. Barbara Browne, assisted by Claudia Clark. The cast included Pat 1-larmon, Robert Hodgdon, Jane Crook, Rose Ellen Wedge, Timothy O'Connor, Dean Footman, Dorothy Stratton, Ruth Crockett, Margaret Sanders, Donald Jennings, James Hainer, and Carolyn Perkins. As we leave the halls of Brewer High School, filled with pleasanj memories of the past four years, we look forward to a bright future. '
