Broadway Comes To Brevard This year the Brevard College Division of Fine Arts presented the production of Oklahoma. Auditions were held for the production by Sam Cope and Alex Helsabeck. Through their guidance, the cast was chosen and worked hour after hour to perfect the show. Through long, tiring rehearsals the cast, crew and orchestra members put together a successful show to the delight of the Brevard Community. 12 Fall Drama ■

; Spring Activities . . . Spring Semester was packed with activities for students ' education and pleasure. Many exciting events occurred be- fore the yearbook went to press at the end of February, including the Lip-Synch Contest in which students per- formed for cash awards. One Coffee House program fea- tured Barbara Bailey Hutchison, a singer guitarist who played folk and rock music. Another musical event was the sixth annual Western Carolina Jazz Festival presented by the Division of Fine Arts and featuring Jim Schnefel, a piano soloist and adjudicator along with the Btevard College Jazz Ensemble. The srudents also enjoyed Casino Night and the installation of new video games.
