Faculty Music plays an important role in the cultural life of the college. The Choir and the Glee Club present programs of sacred and secular music on campus, in local churches and on annual tours. Instrumental en- sembles provide a variety of music ranging from the popular to the classic. A dulcimer and a clear voice blend in the harmonies of an English ballad. Six semester hours of religion are required for grad- uation. Students are encouraged to attend churches of their own choice. Fellowship groups seek to develop comradeship among students of a given denomination. The denominational groups on campus are: The Meth- odist Student Fellowship; The Baptist Student Union, The Canterbury Club, and Westminster Fellowship. The student Christian Council helps directs the religious ac- tivities.
