Jerry ' s the life of the party or classroom or any other place in which you find her. Her outstanding capacity for brilliant handling of sarcasm and pure humor is really re- markable. Her accomplishments prove her ability in work of all kinds. It will never be said that G.E.D.V. was not at the top. At the top she is, and there she will remain. Amen. Glee Club; Choir; Fireside Club; Mnemosynean; International Relations Club. This girl is one whom you may always find wrapped in some French book or a classic. It is good to have her in a class to answer the questions, though. In spite of her classi- cal-mindedness, Elizabeth has quite a modem outlook on life. Bill is rather quiet, but he is all business and a good bet for any one but the Biddies. He ' d be good either as a preacher or a farmer — which will it be? She is one of the quietest girls that we have. She seldom pushes out in front but always cooperates well with her fellow- workers. She is a very studious girl and does good work. She is a faithful friend to everyone, and the kind that will make the world better. Bill is an all-around good fellow, and we were proud to have him with us. He is one of the quietest boys in Brevard College but one of the most dependable. He is a good football player, and he is going to be equally as good as a forest ranger. Pisgah Forest will be glad to claim him. CECIL POWELL EVANS Lexington, North Carolina Cecil ' s quiet, but he ' s sure to go far; For he ' s hitched his wagon to a star. Delphian; Sigma Phi Alpha; Dormitory Council. If being quiet brings high laurels, Cecil will be a great man. Surely he has started well on a career here at Brevard. He is well-liked, and his perspicacity brings just reward. LALLAH MAY EDWARDS Clinton, South Carolina Ambitious, sincere, with a character strong; May her career as a nurse be successful and long.
