Mrs. Savage listens unenthusiastieally with the bonds safely stuffed in the teddy bear which is beside her. Florence hesitatiugly hands Mrs. Savage' a newspaper while the oth- ers watch fearfully. The Curious Savage was presented on November 17 and 18, 1966. It is the humorous story of an aging woman who is extravagantly spending her money on other people. Her greedy stepchildren place her in a sanitarium to stop her wasteful spending. However, Mrs. Savage has secretly hidden the bonds and ne- glects to tell her stepchildren where. Meanwhile, she is exposed to an entirely different way of life inside the sanitarium. ln the end, the audience wonders which is more normal, the insane outside world rep- resented by the Savage family, or the contented way of life in the sanitarium. The spring of 1966 brought to BHS Bull In A China Shop. This is the quaint story of seven elderly ladies who secretly fall in love with a dashing young detective living near them. This year, for the first time, three one act plays were produced entirely by Jr. High students. The Hitch Hiker was a mysterious radio play which held its audience in suspense. A representation of a melodrama was seen when Fireman Save My Child was presented. The Clocks reproduced a single space of time and showed how people conform to society. rown, L. Kneadler, J. Une ot' the greatest acaflenlit' honors a student may re1'eix'e is be-ing named to the Honor Roll, which is announced at tht- end ol 1-mill semester. The qualifications for Honor Roll are rigid: 3 A's and nothing less than a BM in any solid subject, and the student must demonstrate outstanding citizenship qualities. The greatest reward of being named to the Honor Roll is the personal satisfaction which results from knowing a task has been performed to the best ol' one's ability. The names on the BHS Honor Rolls are those- olxoutstanding students and the leaders of to- morrow. These students are to be congratulated for their line efforts and achievements in soho- lastic endeavors. The Eagle salutes all members ofthe 1966 Spring and Fall Honor Rolls.
