Inst before leaving, he was told by those just re- turning that the skies were black with enemy planes and that the weather was wretched. Upon hearing this, the true American that he was replied. I am going anyhow. I have a mission. So too it is with you. You have a mission. That mission is to give a little more to life than you receive. That mission is to leave the World a little better than you found it. When you and millions more like you have accomplished vour missions, the laws of the jungle will prevail no longer. We shall then have more good citizens for a World that is about to be earth bound no longer. VVe bestow upon you our best wishes that you manage your lives well and that you accomplish your missions in life with joy and happiness. Good Luck! C. A. Under the new guidance of George Badosevich, who was ably aided by james Trovato and Sam Diaconis, the gridders started their rugged training grind. The high spots of the year were the MacDonald and Avalon games. Co-captains Paul Elphinstone and Dave Trudel led the team to its first victory in three years over MacDonald and later defeated Avalon. The Spartans scored 13 touchdowns this year, 7 better than last year. The team is going to feel the loss of the Seniors who are graduating. They are Dave Trudel, Dave Westerman, Paul Elpbinstone, Bill Priore, jack Fulton, Walter Coleman, Rich Ranallo, Gordon Takacs, Bob Burger, Ray Covato, and Nick Vitale. 72 Highlights B H S Opposition Sept. 13 6 32 Baldwin CAD First half had them guessing Sept 20 0 24 Carrick QHQ Breaks tell!
