We completed our days not studying on May 15 and the next day went to South Park tor our class picnic. There we had fun, bike-riding, playing mush ball, and dancing. Then tor our last and best social event ot the year, we went to the South Hills Country Club tor our Senior-Iunior Prom. Bill Le Roy and his orchestra entertained us for the evening. We joined in singing our Alma Mater tor the last time as Seniors on the night ot May 28, the night ot our commencement. Our class was the largest class that has ever been graduated from Brentwood High School and we were fortunate to have the privilege ot being the tirst class to be graduated in the new auditorium. With these exercises, we, as students, have been separated from Brentwood High and now we leave to continue to better our lives by our worthy achievements. To The Seniors For tour full years we've made our way, To this our high school, day by day. We've struggled, trying to succeed, And now as we're about to leave, Let's face the tuture with a smile, And have high hopes, the Brentwood style. So let's be proud, tor others could, To say we hail from old Brentwood.

Earl Steurmann THE SENIOR CLASS HISTORY This year brings to a close our high school days and we, the seniors, regret leaving Brentwood High School where we have formed many friendships. We have joined in both recreation and work. And now that we have become so closely associated we feel no happiness in being compelled to separate. At our first class meeting last fall we elected Harry Viehman as president. William Sutter be- came the Vice President. Bernice Gould, Secretary and Earl Steurmann, Treasurer received the same positions they held in their junior year. Mr. Midg- ley was selected by popular vote to be the senior sponsor. With these people as our leaders we have made our senior class one of the most active classes Brentwood High School has ever graduated. We have spent pleasant evenings at swimming parties and dances, but we particularly liked our Senior Class Party held on Friday, December l5. We were proud to be the first class to hold a social event in our new gymnasium. A huge Christmas tree was placed in the center of the floor. After we danced for a few hours, Mr. Wingrove as Santa Claus appeared and gave each Senior a toy. Our class play Hlfor Pete's Sake has been characterized as the best play ever produced in B. H. S. Twelve of our 220 Seniors showed their dramatic talents on March 8.
