Bauer, BMl Division EX Division, and the EX Division personnel, may be correctly described as the right arm of the Com- manding Oflicer and the Executive Ofhcer. The Administrative Ofiice is responsible for the evaluation and dissemination of all official correspondence going to and from the Commanding Officer. The Personnel Ofhce is responsible for assigning men to the various divisions of the ship and for effecting transfers of men from the ship. The ship's person- nelrnen are the custodians of all enlisted service records, and are responsible for the distribution and collection of liberty cards. The Legal Oflice personnel prepare all ofhcial documents which come into being as a result of Com- manding OH'icer's Mast and Court-Martials. The Legal Ofiicer is continually available to give legal assistance to the ship's crew members. The Training Oflice is the place to go, if one desires to check out correspondence courses. In addition, the Training Officer is available for counseling men as to their future educational goals and plans. The Public lnformation Ofhce is also responsible for the releasing of all news articles to the various media, which help to bring civilian and service-Wide recognition to the Bremerton. The shipis library has a Wealth of material both for educational and recreational purposes. The Post Office, Print Shop, and Photo Lab provide behind-the-scene, but Welcome and important services to all the crew.
