Two hours before the command Anchor Aweighi' is sounded, B Division is on station placing their boilers on the line. Bravo Division BT7s operate their boilers to give the Bremerton the maximum speed required at the highest economical efficiency. This takes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork which helped win the Engineering E three consecutive years. The machinist mates are the trouble shooters of the division. Their primary job is to keep all the fireroom auxiliary machinery in the best possible working order. This requires long hot hours of endless work and mechanical knowledge.
