34' S-4 Division consists of disbursing clerks and stewards. The Disbursing Office is the bank of BREMERTON. lts personnel maintain all pay records, handle allotments and income tax problems, and prepare the monthly returns. All money received by the Post Office, Ship's Store, Small Stores, Soda Fountain and Coke machines becomes part of the Disbursing Office bank roll at the end of the day. The stewards serve the Captain's mess, the wardroom and the warrant 0Hicer's mess.
