With Lufkin leading 7-0 Carpenter made the Lirst Buckaroo touchdown with an eighty yard run. Cotten slithered the breath-taking extra point between the posts. The second touchdown was made in nine plays with Watts diving into the end zone for the actual tally. Cotten converted with another high and wobbly job that had Buckaroo fans gasping.
