In our struggle for recognition, the freshman clas s has offered many outstanding students as examples. Our Coed candidates were a cute couple, Elaine Stuht and Bruce Brown. Deane Mclntyre was selected as the Most Valuable Hockey Player award, and also won first prize in the state con- test for her Safe Driving Through Better Vision essay. Capably representing us in the student government were Patty Durbin on the Executive Council and Gregg Hopkins on the Board of Control. Some members of the class showed us what they could do scho- lastically by making the necessary points for C. S. F. They were Maxine Meyers, Gregg Hopkins, Kimiko Shinomiya, Dave Lashley, ' ke , and Paul Nahin.
