A highlight of the event was e display in the art room, where Mr. Morasco's artists exhibited th eir work. Many Brea Junior High students entered the Speech Con- 1:6 st at Westminster High School. It was a great experience. In May, the outstanding Spanish students participated in the Spanish elling Bee conducted by Mr. Saenz, We all enjoyed The Boy Ten SP Feet Tall, the excellent reading film. As usual, the bleachers were filled with cheering spectators for the exciting baseball games. And the building Went on ,.,,,...... , - --ar . Q. The Home Ec. students modeled their creations in teenage fashions. Mollie McFa1l, Walter Tanzmeister, Colleen Brill, Kathie Gilliland, and Chuck Dobeck, 5 outstanding math students represented our school in the annual Math Contest held at Imperial Junior High School with Mollie and Colleen winning trophies. Y The first of March brought us the Book Report Contest which was received enthusiastically. Following this event library circulation soared.
