In Memoriam I HOW Robert Sarles I Mark Twyford In August of 1970, Michael Hoyt, Robert Sarles, and Mark Twyford died. We look with regret upon the accident which took their lives, remembering the laughing smiles, the hard work, and the friend- ship we found within them. Yet together we will find strength in the memories they left behind. Together we grow, learning to love and to hate. From both our friends and our enemies, we clisqover our real char- acter, as well as oljr faults. Together, we learn to belong, to care, and to share dreams. i , Q rg, 5- www ,.. .......... 4 L ww-: , 1 IO A . ffsiifdyi F w W 3 V X I . ,, 1,3 H: Q M::,fp EJ l il -'lf f'glA'E'-,sl E. ,fv 'Wai -, iw,-A U, l gli xicifu '1g'Q'2-JN 'f - s--1 5 ... '-1 Time waits for no one Together we must go Acknowledgements The most importantl factor in pro- ducing a yearbook is cooperation and participation not only by the staff, but by others who lent their efforts and talents. ' It is impossible to thank a single photographer because Loring Studio provided us with many. We appreci- ate the fine quality of all these pictures taken. Aside from the pictures, the main portion of any yearbook is assem- bling, enlarging, reducing, setting up galleys and acquainting us with cur- rent publication trends. This all falls under the title of publishing. This year we were fortunate enough to have Mr. Jack Brown of O'Toole and Sons as our publisher once again. Accurate guidance is essential. Val- uable criticism was gratefully ac- cepted by the staff. Encouragement when things seemed. wrong helped to pull us through. We would like to thank Mrs. Lucila Patch, our advisor, for her never-ending patience and de- votion. We never could have done this alone. I The staff would like to take this op- portunity to thank all these people who worked so hard to make the 'l97'l MILESTONE possible.
