Class Prophecy On June 2, 1971, the Brandon High School graduating class of 1961 met at the Bran- don Inn for its tenth annual reunion. At this time the following facts were revealed con- cerning the progress and accomplishments of the various class members: LINDA ARNOLD was recently seen at the Bronx Zoo, painting stripes on albino zebras. JUNE BACKUS has reached fame as an airplane pilot who specializes in stunt flying. After graduating from a noted business college, ROZ BAKER returned to Brandon and be- came president of Baker's Chic Hatchery Co., Inc. MARTHA BARROWS has pursued her acting career further and is now the star of the Glendora T.V. show. TOM BEAU- REGARD finally settled down to one girl, but no one is sure who she is. CLAIRE BERT- RAND is to be found working in an office at the U.N. as secretary to Khrushchev. JACK BILLINGS has re-opened the Brandon Theater, which is now doing a thriving bus- iness. DICK BIRD is the first white man to be signed up by the Harlem Globe Trotters. RACHEL BROWN has become the top designer for Vogue magazine. JOHN BRUTKOSKI is working for the F.B.I. His specialty is capturing smugglers. NORMAN CHATFIELD is operating a Beatnik village in Brandon for cool cats over the age of sixth-five. Be- cause she has more clothes than she knows what to do with, DONNA DAVIS has opened a second hand dress shop. HANFORD SKIP DAVIS hasn't been heard from in some time, but the last report revealed him in the heart of Africa, fervently hunting wild animals. GRACE DENNEHEY is taking over her father's place as woman cop on the Brandon beat. After going to a hair stylist school, DIANTHA DISORDA finally was made chief hair stylist at Mimi's Poodle Shop. PAT DOWNEY is advertising Lucky Strike Ciga- rettes on the Tab Hunter Show. KEN ENGLISH is running the Dear Kenneth column in the Rutland Herald to keep up with the latest gossip. ARLENE FAY was recently awarded the Mrs. America award for her ability in home making. NANCY FAY is in Italy crushing grapes for some of Italy’s famous wines. CONNIE FERNANDEZ is the last person left chattering on the Keep Talking Show. MARY FLETCHER married a big tall Texan with a little red Corvette. RONNIE GERMOND has been making his living by guiding hunting parties into Alaska. Operating a bakery shop in New York City, CONNIE GEVRY is trying to make a profit by selling donut holes. DONNA HAYES is the author- ess of the world famous book, How to Stay Slim. HARRY HUNT may be found living in the swamp, spearing frogs as his occupation. STEVE ILLSLEY is working in a biology lab, teaching mice to eat cheese with a spoon. SUSAN JOHNSON is in Alaska trying to make a living selling bikinis to the Eskimos. We find RICHARD JONES swinging from the tree tops in his latest film, Tarzan and his Swinging Friends. BARBARA KAPITAN has made headlines with her book, How to Be Popular in Six Easy Lessons. GISELE LEDUC is world famous as the first woman to be shot into space. ROGER LEE is in charge of the rifle range at Camp Drum. HENRY HANK LEON is now the leading test pilot for Chrysler Corporation. PAM LEONARD is raising and training Clydesdale horses on her ranch in Wyoming. So far all she has re- ceived is three broken toes. LYNN MARSETTE is serving as French maid for Bridgit Bardot. Rumors have it, though, that Lynn is making a bigger hit than Bridgit. JOHN McDONOUGH finally got a job with N.B.C. and is competing for equal time with Mil- ton Berle. DONNA MITCHELL is official tester for Maxwell House Coffee.

DAN PIERCE now owns a chain of hotels across the country, but, as he finds this does not keep him busy enough, he teaches U.S. History at the Otter Valley Union High School. As editor of the New York Times, SIMONE RACINE writes a column, How to get an A in Every Subject. DAVID SENECAL has started smoking cigars so he can take over the Groucho Marx show when Groucho retires. DONALD SEVERY is desperately trying to cross macaroni and spaghetti to produce a new produce called macasparoni. RITA SEVERY was last heard from as she wandered through the Sahara Desert looking for No Man’s Land. JUDY SMITH is running the Flying T-Bird” garage at 11 Carver Street. BOB STEELE is taking over the Superman show on T. V., but he just can’t seem to get off the ground. HERM WAGNER, unable to stand another Yankee loss, decided the biggest contribution he could make to the team would be to join the Pirates. The last heard from BRUCE WARNER was in science class. Bruce was tipping back in his chair when a voice echo- ed OUT! The weak reply was, Please, Mr. Barna, I don’t wanna go! BETTY WETMORE is teaching foreign dances at an Arthur Murray studio in New York City. Her specialty is the Russian Beryozka Dance. DONNA WETMORE is chief weight lifter at the Rutland Circus. TOM WHALEN fulfilled his ambition to make history and is the first priest to come out of Brandon -- with a beard. After divorcing four husbands, JUDY WILLETTE still isn't satisfied and plans another trip to Reno soon. After a long talk with Miss Force, NICKY WILLETT decided to continue his education and has now reached his goal as president of Harvard University. They say that BONNIE WIMETT has married her one and only, ” and together they are managing the Lake Dunmore Hotel. SARAH WISELL is now running Wisell’s Maroon and Grey Store, ” instead of Wisell's Red and White Store. BRUCE YOUNG is in Alcatraz serving the remainder of his fifteen year prison sentence for embezzlement of the Orwell Bank.
