Class History We started our Freshman year with 57 members, many of whom came from out of town, and whom we were all glad to see. After displaying our nightgowns for the benefit of the upperclass- men, we became full-fledged members of B.H.S. after the joys of Freshman Initiation. Later we elected our class officers, who were: President - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- - Bob Marcelle Vice President - - - - --------------- - -Bill Widlund Secretary — — — — - -- -- -- — - — — - Marie Simonds Treasurer - -- -- - — - - - - — - — - - - —-- Bob Fales Student Council Representative--------------Gene Barrows Our home room advisors were Mr. Arnold and Mr. Frappier. During our Sophomore year our officers were: President--------------------------------------------- Martha Doane Vice President.................................................Betsy Buttolph Secretary----------------------------------------------Marie Simonds Treasurer - -- -- -- -- -- -- -- — --------- -------— - Bob Fales Student Council Representatives------Lucille Sargent, Georgia Nevin and Bill Widlund Mr. Barker, Mrs. Brown, and Mr. Fay were our homeroom advisors. Our class sponsored the annual Harvest Dance, which made us feel very important, and was a lot of fun as well as being very profitable. At the beginning of our Junior year we elected: President-------------------------------------------------------Nancy Quelch Vice President-----------------------------------------Ralph Humiston Secretary --- -------------------------------------- Bob Rawson Treasurer---------------------------------------------Lucille Sargent Student Council Representatives-------Marie Simonds and Bob Fales Our class advisors were Mr. Fallon and Mr. Barna. During this year, we put on a Junior Prom, which was a lot of fun, and the first formal dance many of us attended. For our last year we elected: President--------------------------------------- Eileen Quenneville Vice President-----------------------------------------Bob Rawson Secretary----------------------------------------------Marie Simonds Treasurer —----------------- — ------- — — - — Bob Fales Student Council Representatives - - Lucille Sargent and Bill Widlund A lot of things happened in the Fall. We had only begun to feel our importance as Seniors when we had our class pictures taken. Even before the cries of Oh, aren't they awful! had died down, we began to work on our jazzy Senior play, One Mad Night, directed by Mr. Barna, which was really a tremendous amount of fun. Plans are under way for graduation and the future. Eileen Quenneville Rudy Charbonneau
