A Day To Be Treasured We dressed in our finest • And left right on time, A day to be treasured Always in our mind. A corsage of light blue Was pinned to my dress, While the matching carnation Was where you would guess. Our pictures were taken A t his house and mine. Then off to Weymana Where we were to dine.

Twas Friday, the Thirteenth, The day of the Prom. Not a thing had gone right. And still more could go wrong. While we sat at the Ridge, Not once did think. That all over my dress, would soon spill my drink. The car that we rented. Which cost quite a bit. Was bumped at the red light. And my date took a fit. We finally arrived. Our heads in a spin. But our ticket was home. So we could not get in. At this point of the night. What more could go wrong — Well they stepped on the record. And ruined the theme song. We danced until midnight, Some fast and some slow. But when the music had ended. We did not want to go. Well remember that night. For the rest of our days.
