Dedication Ideally, a teacher is a giver. She enriches her students through her knowledge, skill and personal experiences; she gives of herself. This is an apt description of Mrs. Bernardine Gutterson, English and Latin teacher and long time faculty advisor of the Junior Classical League. During thirty-nine years in Braintree until her retirement in June of 1970, Mrs. Gutterson was known to everyone for her countless virtues. She is truly a dedicated teacher and inspires in her students an appreciation for knowledge and the desire for excellence. Her hard work and helpfulness to all will make the absence of this fine educator from Braintree High School greatly felt.

Dedication If Braintree High were to choose candidates for a “most capable” award, Mrs. Campbell would be highest on the list. For the past forty-one years she has weathered all the crises of the school while serving under three principals. Certainly our present principal, Mr. Hjelm, would be the last to deny her competence, for where could he find a more able secre- tary or a more willing right hand? In addition to being efficient, Mrs. Campbell is consid- erate, understanding, and worthy of the trust and admiration that students and faculty alike have given her. The memories she leaves us will always be cherished.
