Sleeker Braintree Town Hall High the torch was held above us, Proud we stood beneath its flame And now our thoughts recall within us Braintree High’s triumphant name. Proud we march toward the crossroad Stable, ready, unafraid. Traveling with a lightened burden For our foundation has been firmly laid. Well were our lessons instilled within us, Christian doctrines to prevail For with Braintree’s folks behind us We must not falter; we must not fail. Secretary Treasurer William McNally Lois Morrison Suzanne Buker Donald Miller SE B ST YEARS, ™KS Let’s look back o’er the past four years Beginning when we were freshmen. We had our doubts and our fears, But we tried our best to suppress them. With our goals up ahead and courage behind us, We carefully made our way Along the road which carried us To where we stand today. Some went to South, some to Hollis — At both we shared good times. Were we rivals? You bet! Let us never forget Those days that are now behind. Our sophomore year was next in line. An easy year for some; But those of us with college in mind There was plenty of work to be done! We struggled wdth x plus y plus z. And un, deux, quatre, and cinq. Yet when the year ended, most all were contented With marks that were fair and frank. The year was climaxed by the Sophomore Social, Our very own affair! We put on new clothes and proceeded to d ance To the music of the Alan-Aires. Our Junior year was one of the best. (Except, of course, for all the tests!) We chose our class rings, planned our prom. Began our yearbook, and time rolled along. Before we knew it we were almost through it. Yes, our school days were nearly completed. We were nearing the day when we all could say, I wish they could be repeated.” Seniors at last! How the time flew! And oh, there was so much for us to do! Our Christmas party, exchanging class photos. Paying class dues and gosh, who knows? There was the Senior Show (the best ever). Yearbooks to sign, could it last forever? Our reception and banquet And then the day came. In caps and gowns we bid adieu To Braintree High, our friend tried and true. To her we sang, For these past years we offer thanks. Thanks for thy charities.” We’ll always remember, and may we endeavor To keep her among fond memories. 80 YOU CAN’T TAKE IT WITH YOU The Class of I960, having finally come to its senses, has realized once and for all that you can ' t take it with you. (Don ' t think they didn ' t try, however.) Now, seeing their way clearly, they wish to proclaim to the world their unselfish bequests. Dave Nelson leaves his cowboy hats to Wyatt Twirp. Dee Tarbox leaves her powerful set of vocal cords to Bill Elliott. Judy Falardeau leaves her acting ability to Carol Moore. Bob O ' Brien wills his sleepy expression to Bob Neill. John Shuster bequeaths his endless supply of jokes to his understudy. Bill Galebach. Beau Seppala leaves his dimples to Bucky Ward. Doug Hedlund leaves his carrots to Bugs Bunny. Bruce Emens leaves wondering why he came in the first place. Toot-Toot Young leaves on the 8:03. Jean Zanotti leaves as carefree as ever. The girls’ tennis team leave their tennis balls to the ventilating system in the gym. Jean Bacon leaves her ability to swing on the rings to the monkeys at Franklin Park. Ace Brock leaves his talented voice to Richard Trumbull. Porky Meehan leaves his recipe for growing to those little junior boys. Steve Denton leaves through the back door. Bette Monti leaves Mr. Bruce peace and quiet. Ellen Wright leaves an echo in the corridors. Rat Estrella leaves his bloodhound instinct to anyone who wants to find Framingham. Dave Willard leaves if he can finish serving his time in session hall. Ada LeVangie leaves sneakers showing stress and strain. Slim McKean leaves to join Barbara D.
