The Media Club was formed to create a greater interest among the students in the use of books and library services. The Media is also trying to improve the services available to the students.

Top Row: Debbie Doherty, Lisa Miller, Greg Heath. The Traffic Representatives of Arizona's Governor's Youth Council attended the state convention to learn better ways of teaching highway safety. They took their knowledge to the elementary school and junior high through safety programs. if 37 N - Q 5 Sitting Down: Brian Kramer, Alice Norris, Stacy Webbeking. Standing: Jeanna Kuester, Melissa Richardson, Mrs. Delp, Laurie Houser, Laurie Allen, Mrs. Sizemore, Dale Hammel, Lisa Desjadon, Kim Fritz, Glenda Carlock. National Honor Society consists of sophomores, juniors and seniors who meet the four criteria of scholar- ship, service, leadership and character. The purpose of NHS is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character. This year NHS sponsored the Sadie Hawkins Dance and began a service project called Teacher of the Month, recognizing the members of our faculty who are doing an outstanding job. They also supplied refreshments for the teachers during National Education Week.

Sponsors were Coach Hopfinger, Coach Haddow, and Mrs. Tate. ART CLUB 'J' - S 4 . Bottom: May Borjon, Mary Ann Kimmel, Dawn Shoop, back: Tim Spangler, Miss Clothier, Sverre Hale, James Lasby. The Art Club is designed for students which are interested in the field of fine arts and photography. They did the painting murals in the gym and weight room.
