National Honor Society consists of sophomores, juniors and seniors who meet the four criteria of scholar- ship, service, leadership and character. The purpose of NHS is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character. This year NHS sponsored the Sadie Hawkins Dance and began a service project called Teacher of the Month, recognizing the members of our faculty who are doing an outstanding job. They also supplied refreshments for the teachers during National Education Week.

The Media Club was formed to create a greater interest among the students in the use of books and library services. The Media is also trying to improve the services available to the students.
