Greeks Hold Week NStop the World I Want to go Greekv was the theme of the 1968 Greek Week. With all fraternities and sororities dressing according to the theme and showing their unity throughout the week, each house tried to out-do the other. Each day was filled with events, however, an un- forgettable day for the boys was ATOM day, where all the girls had to open doors and pay for dates. The week was highlighted by the Greek games which included a banana-eating contest, the greased-pig contest, and chariot races. The winner of overall points was Lambda Chi Alpha. Sigma Delta Tau and Phi Kappa Tau were awarded the spirit trophies. ABOVE: Two Sigma Chi's find that catching a greased pig is only half the battle, the other is putting it in the sack. ABOVE FAR RIGHT: Selected on their resemblence to Greek deity, Vicki Wolfert of Pi Beta Phi and Don Slota of Tau Kappa Epsilon reigned as Goddess and God for Greek Week. L M, L A I A 4 49 Panhellenic Councii The addition of two sororities and a new constitution this year expanded the Panhellenic Council's perspective as the legislative body of Bradley's eight sororities. Besides organizing rush. conducting the IFC-Panhel dance, scholarship banquets and teas. the council provides the basis for co- operation and improvement in the Greek system. To strengthen the fraternity system, the IFC sponsors throughout the year such events as rush. service projects, scholarship emphasis week. Greek Week, intramural sports, leadership conferences. and a library fund.
