Alter the first month we. representatives of the nine Catholic grade schools of Butte. had adjusted ourselves to the swing of high school life. To guide us through our lour years. we elected the following officers: Mary Pat Grady. Mary Dawn Sampson. Mary Canavan, Letty Ann Doran, Gere O'Neill. Rose Krstulich. Mary Sullivan. Sally Deane. Gere Piazzola. Mary Gennara, Von- nie Cleary, Maxine XVarila. Charlotte Kirkpatrick, Marie Sullivan. Mary Ellen McDonald. and Pat Thompson. Those who achieved literary acclaim were: Marjorie Lynch, Margie Lappin. Marjorie Crowley, Carol Rhae Telling. Noreen Doran. Margie May. and Mary Lee. Much ol the recognition given to the Class ol '51 was due to the intricate maneuvers of the twirlers who claimed among their ranks: Letty Ann Doran, Head Majorette: Carol Rhae Telling. Patsy Tomich. Margie Lappin, Noreen Doran. Maribeth Hellernan. Nora McDevitt, Sally Deane. and Mary Sullivan. Those who lent their time and talent to the drum corps were: Lea Ann Harrington and Mary Lee. ollicers: and also Margie May. Margaret Seymour. and Louetta Pene. The high-spirited pep club claimed S19 447, IOWZ of the class. Among its members were ollicers: Marg Lappin, Beth Murphy. Mary Dawn Sampson. Carol Rhae Telling. and Harriet Mitchell. Attractive yell provokers were Mary Canavan and joan Sampson. The Centralite Stall' included: Mary Gennara. Letty Ann Doran, Margie Lappin. -Ioan Sampson, Noreen Doran, Maribeth Heffernan. Louetta Pene, Margaret Seymour. Vonnie Cleary, Rosemary Sullivan. Rose Pecora, -Ioan Popish. Marie Sullivan, Mary Dawn Sampson, and Marjorie Crowley. Margie May. Mary Sullivan. -joan Sampson and Mary Canavan were junior and senior Sodality Ollicers. Talented senior drantatists were: Kathleen O'Keele. Carol Rhae Telling. ,joan Marie Popish. Patricia Thompson. Mary Dawn Sampson, Mary Evelyn Leary. Mary Patricia Grady, Sally Deane, Nancy Murphy, Beth Murphy. Mary Lou Healy, Gerry Piazlola. Harriet Mitchell, Patsy Tomich and Marjorie Crowley. Members ol' the committees who made our dances such successes were: Maxine NVarila. Gerry Piauola. Mary Gennara, Vonnie Cleary. Pat Thompson. Marie Sulliy an, Mary Ellen McDonald and Charlotte Kirkpatrick. Our Queens were: Margaret Lappin lor the Mardi Gras and Mary Sul- livan lor the Gridiron Ball. Our class was the lirst to have its own freshman play. Cinderella in Lore- landf' and our junior class won the intramural basketball championship. Now with a wistlul sigh, as we recall the activities and fun which we have had during our years at Central. we prepare to leave.
