Under the cognizance ol: these men are the Accessory Shop, Metal Shop, Parachute Lott, Oxygen Shop and Radiofl2adar Shop. They are the shop-keepers For the mechs and assist in all heavy maintenance work. Repairs that sometimes seem an impossibility to make a plane Fly- able again have been accomplished. Radial and jet engines are their spe- cialty. The ship's vehicles, Forklifts, starter jeeps and crash crane are an added responsibility.

A torpedo workshop and an advanced undersea weapons workshop are maintained by seIected men who have compIeted speciaIized training in these phases. 'I'heir's is a task in which every precautionary measure must be observed during arming the aircratt, dearming the bombs and rockets, beIting 20 mm ammunition For the aircraft guns and other ordnance work.
