The Quartermasters are concerned basically with aiding in the navigation ot the ship, maintaining a Iog ol: all important events occurring and the manning ol: all the various steering stations, primarily the helm in the pilot house. During operations, in addition to the helm, the Quartermasters man the engine order telegraph. Night watches Find the Quartermaster helmsman training personnel from the deck divisions For steady steaming Watches.
