The dance company strives to promote a better knowledge and understanding of modern dance, to provide entertain- ment, to become organized, and to progress in style so as to produce lithe, agile and stronger bodies. Tryouts for interested dancers are judged on dance, techniques, rhythm, style, creativity and ability to learn steps. Dancers in the company a sincere devotion to and spend many hours 1 op pic. Although under the same direc- tion, the Choir group has a different sound from the Amistad. Barragans interest in choir 1S due to his love of music, vocal and instrumental. This kind of love is evident through the voices of the choir.
