Eff This years Homecoming Queen Cessy Adame escourted by cheerleading sponsor Rudy Ramirez. A dream come true Being Queen or Princess is only a dream for many girls, but to five girls here at school it was a reality. The Homecoming Court consisted of four Prin- cesses and, of course, the Queen. They were: Fresh- man Princess Gloria Enriquez, Sophomore Princess Angie De la Riva, Iunior Princess Yoly Adame, Senior Princess Desi Madrid, and Queen Cessy Adame. When told they were the Homecoming Court for the year of 1987, they were left speechless and could not express their feelings. After the shock, the only words Senior Princess Desi Madrid could say were, I'm so happy! These girls are not only beauty but brains as well. Freshman Princess Gloria Enriquez is active in sports. She played on the freshman volleyball team, plans on playing on the basketball team and running for the track team. Sophomore Princess Angie De la Riva is a member of the band and is the vice president of the Sopho- more Club. Iunior Princess Yoly Adame has been picked many times to be princess in the past years. Yoly like Gloria is active in sports. She played on the varsity volleyball team, played basketball, and ran on the varsity track team. Senior Princess Desi Madrid is the busiest of them all. She is the President of the Speech and Drama Club,'a varsity cheerleader, a member of the Student Council, is on the gymnastics team, a member of the Senior Club, and is a member of the Yearbook Staff. Queen Cessy Adame is an honor student who has maintained an A average throughout her high school years, she is President of the Senior Club, President of Student Council, and Secretary of the National Honor Society. These Girls lead a busy life on Homecoming Week. They were getting everything ready to be presented to the students in the Homecoming Pep Rally. There the court heard their fellow class members chanting their names. Homecoming Week was a time these girls would never forget. OPENING f l3
