While attending high school, Ulf vi she was in the Orchestra, P .E. Leaders Club and in the Juniorand Senior Honor Society. After she graduated, she attended U.T .E .P. and received her B.S. degree in 1962. Before coming to Bowie she taught at Hart Elementary. Miss Garcia, was born in Bracketville, Texas. Her hobbies include bowling, reading, cook- ing and stamp collecting. She has a French Poodle named Asavache. Miss Garcia has earned the love and respect Wlill... xqnpv--.. of all her students and she has en- couraged her students to continue their education and go on to college. in. 12

Dedication Mr. Nolan Richardson lVlr. Nolan Richardson, a 1959 Bowie graduate, rece'ived many basketball, baseball, and football honors while at- tending high school. Among these honors were NlostAthletic, All Conference Player, and Outstanding Basketball District Player. Other honors included president of the Nlasque and Gavel Club, ROTC Captain, All School Favorite and llllost Popular Boy. He adds l am the most original Hall of Fame at Bowie. He attended Arizona Junior College and Texas Western College, now the Uni- versity of Texas at El Paso. Although a science teacher, lVlr. Richardson coaches me varsity basket- ball and golf teams. i , by Nlr.
