.i J-,K-t Bookends The chief work of Bourgade's Library Club, nicknamed the Bookends, was the expansion of knowledge through the upgrading of the library's collection. The Bookends consisted of four members: Peter van Leeuwen, president, joe Vignali, vice-president, Lori Ann Oberch, secretary, and Karin Muller, treasurer, all of whom spent time working in the library A field trip to see a computerized system of checking out books at a nearby library provided a learning experience for the club members as well The Library Tea an annual event was hosted by Mrs Wemnger and the club The Bourgade faculty members of the WASC evaluation team and Bishop O Brien were all 1n attendance wr rf Bookcnd 47

J Student Government This year our Student Government had a full and successful year. They planned many activities to get the Q' V it at student body involved. Some of these activities included putting up a weekly newsletter on the Eagle bulletin boards sponsoring dances holding a blood drive in September and in March starting the Hiking Club and making Turkey- shaped cookies for everyone at Thanksgiving.
