MatmaidsfSpiritline With a number of ten the matmard line promoted spirit non stop during the wrestling season The line started the year out with a little lag due to their questionable existence Even without the chance and experience from camp they learned the importance of enthusiasm and encouragement and struggled to teach others Inspxte of the distant traveling flat tires running out of gas and bus trouble the line managed to make it there on time to cheer on the wrestlers The girls cared for the guys by preparing pep notes clever posters and boxes of rnunchles for the distant invitationals Matmaid seniors Momca McAdams and Maureen O Connell This was the first year for the Spiritline. The Spiritline is a new line formed this year to support the girls in sports. The new line consists of mostly freshmen, with a few sophomores. This year was mainly a trial and error time, and was handled under the advision of Mrs. Moore. Along with cheering the girls on to victory, they provide care boxes for them on away games.
