'lfhey were the ones with the wide eyes open to ab- sorb everyfhing they could about high school life. They were the ones that s ipped around in mis- matched c othes with records dangling f om their ears. They were also the ones led by their first officers, Pres. , Eric Oligschlaegerg Vice-Pres. , Chuck Nidag Sec. , Maureen Butlerg and Treas. , Janie Cosgrove. They could always be heard screaming the loudest at the pep assemblies and cheering at all the football games. More freshmen showed up to work hard OH their homecoming float and to wash cars at their car washes. W en it came to selling YC21I'b00l'C ds or raffle tickets for the fai , they were the ones who earne a day off and had their candidate reign over the Spring Festival. But most of all they were the ones who cou1dn't wait to become sophomores so the upperclassmen would no longer refer to them as fresh- men .
