Science Has The Solutions
After an experimental period of time, double periods were eliminated in the Science
Department this year. There has also been an increased emphasis on laboratory techniques
in all science offerings. One of the new purchases this past year was a Celestron Telescope.
This telescope was used primarily in Earth Science classes, but also proved to be so interesting
that many students spent time on their own viewing the heavens. The Science Department
is also considering creating courses in such varied fields such as meteorology, oceanography,
ecology, astronomy, medical technology, and laboratory technology.
The Science Department consists of ltop row, left to rightj Walter Bauer, Patricia Bebo,
Leonard Koupiaris, Arnold Martin, Peter Puglia, fbottom row, left to rightl Abigail Stearns,
