TOUGH AS NAXLS, HARD AS BRICKS SR.CLASS OF '56 Wow! what a year we've had, We're just bubbling with things to tell you. Let's start with Chemistry, We recommend that everyone take Chemistry. It's lots of fun and easy. Did we say easy? Well it's fun and educational. We've felt very proud that everyone in school complemented us on ourlQS gas Crotten egg gasl. Many juniors felt that Bookkeeping would be a bigger help to them than Chemistry. I wonder if it was! We surely can't forget the top honors given to us in History and English class. Honors were for bluffing through our tests and were given by Miss Stewart and Mrs. Weeks respectively, Poor Mr, Fedje, what a year he's had. We seem to always hear him saying, WAll those with no errors raise your hand.n we don't get much hand raising exercise. Oh well, give us time, We're im- proving, Of course, studying wasn't all we did this year. We put on a very good pla , 'Uncle Fred Flits By.' We had a very nice Prom and banquet too, Our class is very well represented in Band,Concert Choir, and athletics! Alvin, Darrell and Arlan made first string in basket- ball and Jerry and Alvin are our next year football captains, Barbara was chosen for cheerleading and Harriet and Betty as Queen candidates, We'd better get busy, see you next year! 26
