Carmen at the Unloerslty Theater. Candidates for honorary degrees are announced one hy one. Ed's old classnrates gioe hint an especially lrig hand. Audience stands, applauds, then slts down again as graduates prepare to march to rostrnrn to recelae their degrees. i . . . I'll bet they're all wondering where this last year has llown . . . I can remember when I was sitting down there . . . everything that had happened in my senior year seemed to he flashing through my mind . . . Fall Convocation at University Field was really as entertaining as it was educational . . . I could still see Johnny Freshman and Vice-President Y eo discussing the merits of college , . . a special joint State House Committee which investigated discrimination in Massachusetts' college fraternities and sororities said the University had an excellent record compared to other schools . . . all the Greeks, both men and women, were proud of this . . . campus interest was heightened by visits of political leaders sponsored hy the Citizen- ship Project . . . The Thomas Gastall Jr. Scholarship was announced bythe Alumni . . . I-Iorneeoming Weekend . . . the Float Parade and the crowning of the Queen . , . that must have been a tough decision . . . SFAA's production of Carmen at the University Theatre . . . full house that night . . . International Students Day . . . Hayden Ilall looked like the United Nations that day . . . X731
