Partners ln Progress. Stops for a moment at Daniel L. Marsh Chapel and continues up Corn- monwealth. . . . I'll always be sorry that I didn't get to more of the services here . . . somehow during college you really learn what it is to be sorry, or to be happy about what happens to you . . . maybe this is growing up combined with being in the right at- mosphere . . . I have a feeling that my life might have been quite different if I hadn't come to B.U .... it's really quite a little world in itself-yet big in so many ways . . . so many different people . . . with so many different ideas . . . yes, a world in itself, which certainly wouldn't have been the same without Boston . . . the relation between the city and the University seemed like an unwritten partnership . . . the city helped to amuse as well as educate us . . . in fact, I never seemed to have enough time for all that I wanted to do . . . and the University helped to train and educate leaders not only for Beantown but for many more cities and towns where we all have since gone to live . . . no, this is one partnership that I'm sure will never be dissolved . . . it works too well . . .

CBA and CLA look about the same . . . the iutersession classes should be starting soon . . , ah, yes, good old irrtersessiorr . . . somehow studying in the srurunertirne didn't prove itself as tedious as I had inragined it would be . . . asa matter of fact, I really enjoyed :he opportunity it gave me to get to know seine ol rny professors better. . .ol course, I rnust admit that il I had not been able to study by the Charles River, lile mi ht not have been so pleasant . . . ra Leons ngoinst e tree in front of University Union-Library. . . . this' is the place I have to go in and really see . . . Thoughts while wondering eround the Union. Lounges-Jllrese kids sure are a lucky bunch . . . what a place to sit and shoot the breeze . , . as a matter ci fact, I think I'll sit down and try out one of these easy chairs . . . this place must be ideal for the different clubs and activity committees to hold meetings . . . it's pretty quiet this afternoon-probably because of graduation . . . but I'11 bet if you were to sit here for one evening, you would be likely to meet half the University . . . u Uofeteriellbo bad I've eaten . . . I should have remembered that the Union has this new cafe- teria . . . I might almost have a bite anyway . . . but, oh . . . those 16 pounds! Library-We can all be very proud of this . . . somehow the library always seems to be the heart of a University . . . it'e amazing to see how smoothly all the individual libraries have been com- bined . . . an All-University Library. Outside egoin-fstorts nothing slowly up Uornrnonureotth Are. Turns around for another tooh at the Union-Library ond continues post UUE. Starts to cross intersection ot BU Bridge. . . . this corner is still one heck of a place to cross . , . no matter how much the University has changed . . . this corner never will . . . even two policemen can't handle 'all the traliic here . . . whew! glad to be across . . . this was always like swimming the English Channel-you never know whether you'd make it or not . . . this must have been the Admiral Building . . . I'd never recog- nine it . . . what a change from the old place . . . having the Fine Arts Center up here must provide a real creative stimulus for the rest of the University . . . a definite improvement . . . ch, oh, I didn' t realize it was so late . . . I'd better hurry along and get up to the field . . . too bad I didn't plan more time to look around . . . I could have spent all day browsing around the old campus . . .
