S A N C H E Z Dear friends: It is almost six months that I am here and I would like to make with you, a sight-back to when we started the school year. I listened to you talking with me, asking me questions and I just could say: Thank you, yes, or just smile because really I did not know, where I was stepping ony really! I can't tell you what troubles I had!! But after that, I became to know that everybody was so happy to help me in everything. My English is becoming better day-to-day and I just feel at home. It is hard to me, to write down and sum up on these lines all what l - want to tell you. Maybe this unique word: Thanks, Thanks to all of you for being so helpful to me, for the fun that we've had together, and thanks to A . F .S . , for this wonderful experience I am having. This year for the first time the Varsity Club admitted girls into their private association. The aims of the Varsity Club are to promote the highest form of sportsmanship within the school and also to encourage more parti- cipation among the student body. . Our fund raising projects were selling Varsity Club pens with the seasons basketball schedule on them and we also expect to have a fund-raising basket- ball game which should prove very interesting.
